Tournament Report

Spend 350 days a year on the road and yes, you too can own a new 350Z if you turn perennial poker pro, like Anthony Cousineau, the 1st place finisher in todays No-Limit Holdem Event. Anthony is a retired sports better who has been pro now for about 3 years. A changed man, no more baseball hat, sporting a friends hairdo, Anthony is living the good life and leaving his mark on the tournament circuit.

Employing about 150 people in his own construction company, Eric Panayiotou erected a mountain of chips which placed him in 2nd today, in the No-Limit Holdem event. Reading hands like a blueprint, Eric was in control of his game all day long. A native of Cyprus, Eric plans to visit Greece during the Olympics. We tip our hard hats to you Eric...you have left a monumental mark at the USPC!

With all the elbow grease he could muster, Gary Panico threw a wrench into the play of 171 opponents. A plumber by trade, Gary allowed no leaks in his game, playing confidently. All-in with a flush draw, but losing to trip deuces was the final play, which sealed up the 3rd place position. Solid play, like copper fittings, will make you a permanent fixture at the USPC!

With seven events already commenorated with an engraved watch, you stillhave the opportunity to try for yours. Satellites and Super Satellites are offered each day to encourage tournament participation. The Championship No-Limit Holdem Event will award a Rolex. So...keep your eyes on the prize!
