Tournament
Report
To
the audience tuned in to the
USPC here at WTAJ, #1 on the
top three count down of Event
#2 Seven Card Stud, was awarded
to Joseph Immordino, as he
swiveled and swayed his way
through the tournament with
the smoothness of Elvis, his
favorite performer, crooning
to the crowd to that all familiar
tune...’I’m in stud, huh,
I’m all rolled up’. Yes poker
fans, Joseph played his way
right into our hearts and
his legendary performance
will be Forever on our minds’!
Put
your hands in the air, here
we goooo....like El Nino....
to the hip hop beat of Karim
Bevans, a speed chess player
who steadily increased his
momentum, not only winning
5 of 7 satelites, but kicking
it up, placing #2 in today’s
Stud Event, his first tournament
ever. This IT Manager has
set his sights on playing
poker on a professional basis,
so hey, it’s poker, you like
it, out 4 tournaments a year
together. Bravo! ...Is a ‘Detroit’
haircut anything like a pompadour?
Anyway, Nolan, rumor has it,
Allen is the greatest Poker
Spectator in the world, and
we’d all love to hear about
it.
Summers
off, home in Martha’s vineyard,
twin baby girls and a 3rd
place finish in his first
tournament ever! This is as
good as it gets! Glenn Brown,
a child psychologist and weekend
warrior in the Taj poker room,
played his game with the relentless
determination as we all know
through the words of Tammy
Wynette..’.stand by your hand’!
At
the conclusion of this broadcast,
we, at WTAJ would like to
congratulate all 248 performers
in today’s Stud event. Your
talents are respected and
your participation is very
much appreciated.
