chuckD chuckD Junior Member Registered: 12/28/04 Posts: 14 Loc: UK	Personally I do not believe that there is anyone out there with a program that can see other players' hole cards. If there was they wouldnt be at the low limits tables you would just join every poker site, play at one of the higher limits and clean a few thousand out each session, the repeat a week later. Its garbage and basically I dont think it's possible. I know of set ups which can read YOUR hole cards then decide what to do with them, i.e. fold, raise, check etc. These work by having a digital camera that faces your monitor and a macro that reads the action based on its screen position. Its basically a bot playing the game and if you have the know how you can write the macro to play statistically perfect. In general I don't thinks these will generate much money from poker because of the randomness in what people are likely to call with...perhaps it works better at high limits. What I have known them to be used for is on Betting Exchange sites for arbitrage purposes which they can be successful for...providing you have a $100,000 bankroll and the knowledge to set the whole thing up!!

You can view what I am talking about on my site. I use one when I play, and yes it "SCANS" the action at the table, but obviously does not reveal the opponents cards. desrtrat desrtrat Junior Member Registered: 04/22/05 Posts: 1	I think one thing that's being overlooked here is that there are a bunch of bad players out there that will play anything, especially at the play money tables. I've been burned by those dumbasses that play the 8 2 offsuit and get lucky on the river. Doesn't mean that their cheating, it just means that they're lucky. Eventually their luck runs out. Another example is the jackasses that go all in pre-flop with nothing. Some people just don't know how to play and aren't interested in improving they're game, they just want to be able to say "I have 10 billion play chips!". I find it unlikely that a legitimate scanner can be in existance given the Fort Knox type security that party poker and other poker sites implement. Sad fact is, there's just a lot of stupid people out there. Even a blind squirel gets a nut every now and then. Peace... _________________________ -The Rat
