EUROPEAN TITLE GOES TO SCOTLAND!
Scottish gentleman David Meyer defeated
a field of 65 players tonight to go away
with the European title of the day and
19 730 as a first prize. Congratulations
to him! In this 500 Pot Limit Holdem
tournament, 6 of the 9 finalists were
regular ACF players; runner up Sloane
Martin Ceccaldi, Gilles Haddad, Sami Benichou,
Yves Aknin, Chuc, and Donat Bernard, who
actually already proved his talents, winning
the first event of the week. The two other
finalists were English player Surinder
Sunar, who has now decided to impose himself
on the tournaments scene, and Russian
fast rising star Alexander Kuzmin, who
by the way made 3 final tables out of
4 tournaments he entered so far
