Taking a Pounding

Saturday, April 21, 2007

By: Acevader

Right, I incorporated some changes into my game for the last session and felt like on the whole I played pretty well. But I dropped 3 more buy ins taking my downturn to 14 buy ins and thus totally eclipsing any previous bad run.

I've got posts on the pokerforum and 2+2 and I'm reading thread after thread to try and make sure my game is 100% tight. I feel I've got a good few pointers in the last few days so hopefully next session I can stop the rot. Two more buy ins and I'm dropping to NL$100 - I'll have no choice.

This is as low as I've ever been with poker yet I'm still strangely pumped to play. I'm determined to be successful more than ever. I see these guys with big earnings, fancy cars, lot of free-time and critically freedom from the drone 9-5 existence. I want that for myself and I'm determined to achieve it even if I have to relearn my entire game, etc.
