November Round-up

November has, I guess, been fairly kind in that I have actually made enough money to keep me afloat month to month. That is to say that if I repeated this performance for 12 months of the year I'd make more money than I did in my job.
However, it was shaping up to be a lot nicer and I finally for the first time in my entire poker career strung a few winning days together without a big loss in the middle. That was the story of last week. The story of this week goes something like this:
Monday-lose
Tuesday-lose a lot
Wednesday-make 50bb
Thursday-lose a lot
Friday-lose a lot
In all the loses from this week total $1750 over 10,000 hands. I don't believe that I played badly and I don't think I tilted. I got angry at points but I would usually leave the table for a while or, as was the case on Tuesday, the rest of the day. It's been a real downer as, lets be honest, I've not had anything positive to take from poker since I started playing for a living and I had finally seen light at the end of the tunnel just to have it snuffed out this last week. December should be quite telling: as you know things are in the red financially and November has given us a little breathing room and hope. I have to beat November's figures in December or its curtains. Plain and simple!
I could ramble on about bad beat this, PokerEV that but I'm really not in the mood, it serves very little purpose and is absolutely irrelevant. I need to succeed in December even if variance dishes up the worst month imaginable. My November graph is below:
