Tilt Altert, Tilt Alert!

Well it finally happened! I tilted! I've said before it takes quite a lot for me to start tilting but after 9000 hands and 24 hours of play I finally just lost the plot and tilted. Now my idea of tilt is quite different to the maniac that raises and then pots 3-streets with like jack high. My two tilt hands from today were when I CO raised Ad4d and c-bet an ace-rag-rag flop vs a BTN caller. He raised and I came over the top in an instant and got stacked by AQ. Tilt, no questions about it...but at least I had top pair! A little later I BTN raised 77 and was 3-bet (again) so I 4-bet pushed. The push was frustration but looking at it more level headed it was probably fractionally -EV at worse - I didn't note the players stats but he'd 3-bet me a bit so it may well have actually been a +EV push despite the fact I walked bang into QQ!
The tilt really was just the end of the sad tale of 1.5 hours of yet more hell. I had AA smashed by AK all in preflop and had nearly all my preflop raises 3-bet or my c-bet's raised or check raised. That is, of course, with the exception of the 7 (seven!) time I had AA of which 6 took down the blinds and the other meet with AK and lost. Oh and the time I flopped a set of 10's and c-bet, villian folded like he could see my hole cards.
Moments after the 77 hand I closed down the tables and quit for the day. Hour requirements or not I won't play tilted so I left some $873 down for the day and, yet again, down overall. I'm really low at having started so badly, especially when I feel I've played well aside from todays tilt.
I think I'll make an attempt to just play and play without checking my balance to hopefully get a lot more hours under my belt before I start to look over bb/100, hours played, money made/(lost), etc. It's exceptionally difficult to do but I'd like to make it until at least the end of next week before I take another look at my balance or statistics and preferable lomger. Obviously if i sense I'm 10+ buy ins deep I'll need to make an assessment for damage control with a view to dropping down. If I stick to this it will also end blog updates for a week or so since I can't pull my hand histories out without risk of seeing my stats and I'll have little else to write about. Hopefully things will be looking a little brighter in a week or two.
